He is survived by: his wife Marianne Steinberg; his children, Donna Magnuson (Charles), Daniel Tauer (Pamela) and Julianne Wright (Brad); his grandchildren, Katey Heimes (Alex), Mitchell Franssen (Lynette) and Paige Fortner (Samuel); his great grandchildren, Madelyn Franssen, Edwin, Griffin Heimes and Warren Fortner; and his brothers, Hermann (Gerlinde) and Franz Steinberg (Helga) of Germany.
