He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford Lien and Phyllis Lien; and his brother Alan Lien. He is survived by: his wife Laurie Lien; his daughters, Kristin Lien (Alex) and Melissa Pace (Joe); and his grandchildren, Elijah Pace, Lucas Pace and Thomas Lien.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations to Como Park Zoo & Conservatory, which relies on voluntary donations for support.
