He was predeceased by: his parents, Sally and Thor; and his siblings, David, Harvey, Sallyann, Linda and Karen Becken (Sweitzer).
He is survived by: his wife Kay; his brother Steve Becken (Jean); his brother-in-law Bill Rentschler (Diane); his nieces and nephews, Heidi Lundahl (Don), Thor Becken (Jane), Tim Becken (Roxane), Jennifer Reinhard (Scott) and Eric Becken (Heidi); his grandchildren, Emily, Ryan, Anne (Mike), Erica (Matthew), Thomas, Megan, Jonah, Benjamin, Katherine, Claire, Maia, Cecilia and Henry; and his great grandchild William.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 14th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Gethsemane Lutheran Church (2410 Stillwater Rd E, St Paul, MN 55119). A funeral service was held on Thursday, May 15th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location.
Memorials preferred to Gethsemane Lutheran Church, Concordia Academy (Roseville) Endowed Scholarship and Union Gospel Mission Twin Cities.
