He was predeceased by : his parents, Marie Murphy and James E. Murphy I.. He is survived by : his children, Amelia Gallo, James E. Murphy and Patrick Murphy; his grandchildren, Joseph, Jamie, Karina, Zara and Andi; his great grandchild Jaden; his wife Cathe Franklin; and his sisters, Jeanie Passofaro and Mary Kay Cherveny.
Visitation was held on Sunday, April 21st 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Simple Traditions (488 Humboldt Ave, St Paul, MN 55107).
