With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John David Thoreson of Saint Paul, Minnesota, who passed away on May 19, 2026 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Kermit Thoreson (Gloria Thoreson) and Lenora Thoreson. He is survived by: his children, Stephanie Charnstrom (Andrew), Justin Thoreson, Alex Thoreson (Kelly), Samantha Cleland (Kevin) and Taylor Paulsen (Adam); his grandchildren, Madelyn, Max Thoreson, Olivia, Skylar Cleland, Justin and Kobe Thoreson; his siblings, Gloriann Kepler (Jim), Christine Grover (Greg) and Bill Thoreson (Barbara); and his nieces and nephews, Jennifer, Joe, Jessica, Steffani, Gunner, Gavin and Ella.
In place of flowers, memorials are preferred to Our Lady of Peace Hospice in St. Paul, Minnesota, which provided exceptional end-of-life care for John and his family and is supported entirely by donations. Contributions can be made at: https://ourladyofpeacemn.org.
