He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank McFarland and Adeline McFarland (Botz). He is survived by: his wife Sandra; his sister Barbara MacIntyre (Richard DeLuca); his children, John Jr. (Colleen), Peggy Lord (Scott), Katie Longfellow (Jon), Bill (Antoinette) and Jim; his grandchildren, Daniel McFarland, Chris McFarland, Alex Lord (Gabrielle), Will Lord, Anne Longfellow and Tom Longfellow (Christina); and his great grandchild Graham Lord.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Holy Spirit Catholic Church (515 S Albert St, St Paul, MN 55116). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, November 14th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
