He was predeceased by : his parents, Wilmar and Norma (Coovert); his brother Charlie; and his mother-in-law Jeanne Lavalle. He is survived by : his wife Theresa; his son Tom (Allison); his grandson James Joshua; and his brother Tom.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, April 25th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Stanislaus Catholic Church (398 W Superior St, St Paul, MN 55102).
