He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph J Lebens and Barbara E Lebens (Hermes); his sister Janet Hentges; and his brother-in-law Jack Larson (Bob Harvieux). He is survived by: his wife Mary Pat Lebens (McCarter); his children, Mary Lynn Lebens, Christopher Lebens and Amy Jeans (Greg); his grandchildren, Sydney, Mason and Reagan Lebens; his siblings, Judy Larson, Mike (Patti) and Mark Lebens (Reta); and his siblings-in-law, Dr. Tom McCarter (Suzie), Bo McCarter (Karin) and Christine McCarter (Bob). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:30 PM and on Friday, September 4th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral Mass was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Holy Spirit Catholic Church (515 S Albert St, St Paul, MN 55116).
