She was predeceased by: her father Thomas Prokop; her former husband John Knutson; her nephews, Chris Prokop and Charlie Knutson; and her niece Ashley McCall (Prokop).
She is survived by: her mother Charlene Jerue (Pourrier); her children, Kate Russell (Matt) of New Brighton and Jack Knutson of Minneapolis; her grandson Ellis Russell; and her siblings, Mark Prokop (Jacki), Thomas Prokop and Geri Bast (Rick). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends.
In honor of Juli's memory, donations can be made to Friends of the Mississippi River or Friends of the Saint Paul Public Library.
