She was predeceased by: her mother Donna Smith (Preusker); and her brother Kirk Smith. She is survived by: her father Danny "Pete" Smith of Battle Creek, Nebraska; and her siblings, Karla French (Pat, family: Jolene Miller, Eston, Daniel French, Cynthia, Jena French) of Battle Creek and Kent Smith (Linda, family: Kristin Walters, Parker, Emilia, Allison Brockhaus, Barrett, Weston, Boden, Hunter Smith).
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. John Lutheran Church (305 S 2nd St, Battle Creek, NE 68715). A graveside service was held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. John Lutheran Cemetery (83857 NE-121, Battle Creek, NE 68715). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Wilderness Episcopal Church.
The family has asked that memorial contributions be made to St. John in the Wilderness Church (2175 1st St, White Bear Lake, MN 55110).
