La leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. La’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. Though she is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support she offered will continue to resonate. All who knew La will carry forward her memory in their hearts.
She was predeceased by: her husband Luverne; and her parents, Helen Pearl Zahnow and William Frederick Zahnow. She is survived by: her children, Deborah, Norma (Kevin), Kurt (Sue), Janice, Barbara, Roger (Renee), Duane (Cindy) and LeAnn (Pat); and her sister LouAnn Gackle. She is also survived by 24 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Mary Catholic Church (1414 Dale St N, St Paul, MN 55117). A Mass will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
