She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter Sr. Ries and Muriel Ries; and her sister Mary Theresa (Tony). She is survived by: her children, Louise, Elizabeth and Daniel (Rosemary); her grandchildren, Peter, Paula, Jakob, Presley and Gabriel; her great grandchild Anthony; and her siblings, Paul (Judy), Doc (Rose), Cathy (Charlie), John (Joan), Barb (Mark) and Peter (Judith). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Saint Thomas More Catholic Church (1079 Summit Ave, St Paul, MN 55105). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 at 2:30 PM at the Saint John the Baptist Catholic Church-Vermillion (106 Main St W, Vermillion, MN 55085).
