He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Edier Frederick and Mary Armosa Stelly Frederick; and his siblings, Marlene Frederick Mayer and Charlie J. Frederick. He is survived by: his brother Thomas J Frederick (Stacey); his nieces and nephews, William "Billy" Mayer (Christi), Christopher L Frederick, Thomas J Frederick, Jr. (Caitlyn), Julie M. Mayer, Paige Frederick Gossen (Sean) and Heidi Frederick Hebert (Jacques); and his brother-in-law Bobby Mayer. He is also survived by seven great-nieces and four great-nephews.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 1:45 PM at the Vincent Funeral Home (209 S St Charles St, Abbeville, LA 70510). A rosary will be held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Theresa of the Child Jesus Church (101 N Leonard Ave, Abbeville, LA 70510). A Mass will be held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
