She was predeceased by: her parents, Philip Angelou (Jeanette Rosenbloom) and Maya Angelou; her husband Leonard Robert Nachman, Jr.; and her son-in-law Alan Potash. She is survived by: her children, Gary (Sheila), Dale (Patty), Amy, Amanda (Scott) and Alison (Oliver); and her grandchildren, Shaina, Marty, Ben, Philip, Hannah, Lev, Adeev, Ezra, Sam, Maceo and Felix.
