She was predeceased by: her mothers, Karen Smith and Alice Walker Smith; her husband Lynn Lowery Jr.; her siblings, Dorothy Cooper Martin and Claude Broyles; and her nieces and nephews, Jerry Martin, Terry Martin and Lila Martin Johnson.
She is survived by: her son Lynn Marcellus Lowery; her grandchildren, Roderick Lowery, Dejuan Davis, Cassie Lowery and Trevon Yarborough; her great grandchildren, Nissi Hires, Destiny Hires, Caleb Hires, Ethan Hires, Gabriel Hires, Breanna Davis, Brayden Davis and Eastyn Lowery; her brother Oscar Leondas Smith; and her niece Mary Martin White. She is also survived by extended family members, relatives, church family, and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Paul AME Church (395 Saint Paul Loop, Morris Chapel, TN 38361). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
