Pi-Nian Chang Obituary
It is with sadness that the passing of Pi-Nian Chang (Saint Paul, Minnesota) is shared. Pi-Nian, born on September 28, 1940, passed away on September 30, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Pi-Nian will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around him. Friends and family will honor Pi-Nian by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence he had in their lives. Though Pi-Nian is no longer present, the bonds he created and the experiences shared will endure. Pi-Nian’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew him.
He is survived by: his wife Alice; his children, Annette (Steven) and Carl (Jill); his grandchildren, Sidney, Kinsley and Tommy; and his great grandchild Lennie.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Department of Pediatrics Children's Health Discovery Fund at the University of Minnesota Foundation.
