He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell L. Pearson and Madeline Pearson (Longhway); and his brother James Pearson. He is survived by: his sister Diane Power (George); his sister-in-law Carol Pearson; and his sibling's children, Jennifer Gardner and Richard Power. He is also survived by three great- nephews and a great niece and many cousins.
