Richard Fields Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Richard Fields (Saint Paul, Minnesota), born in Pipestone, Minnesota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 27, 2025 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though Richard may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Richard touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Elvin L. Fields and Ruth T. Fields (Lessin); Mary Fields. He is survived by: his children, Richard Jr. (Carol), Jeffery (Jodi), Patti Scott (Randy) and Karen Anderson (John). He is also survived by seven grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Guardian Angels Catholic Church (8260 4th St N, Oakdale, MN 55128). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, November 13th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Guardian Angels Cemetery.
