He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob B. Kasel and Leona C. Kasel (Wagner); and his spouse Cay. He is survived by: his children, Cynthia Schaefer (Douglas), Christopher Kasel, Grace Liesch (Christopher), Michael Kasel (Nadine), Andrew Kasel (Lisa) and William Kasel (Sarah); and his siblings, Dwain, Gordon and Diana (Vielbig). He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
