He was predeceased by: his parents, Charleton Giles and Dorothy Giles (Larsen); his son Jeffrey Giles; and his siblings, Patricia Giles and Gary Giles.
He is survived by: his daughter Tammy Giles; his grandchildren, Liliahna Giles, Marcos Giles and Mya Giles; his great grandchildren, Antonio and A'Siah; and his close friend Betsy Bauer.
