It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Hennessey (Saint Paul, Minnesota), who passed away on March 2, 2026, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Robert Hennessey to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Lucille and Bob Sr.; and his sister Patricia Engfer. He is survived by: his wife Mary Ellen; his children, Molly Hennessey Greenwalt (Kyle) of East Lansing, Mich, Kathleen Hennessey Carroll (Bill) of Minneapolis, Patrick Hennessey (Meghan Graber) of San Francisco and Robert Hennessey, Jr. of St. Mary's Point; and his grandchildren, Gus, Teddy, Mary Rose Greenwalt, Will, Leo Hennessey, Liam, Patrick, Desi Carroll and Borgestad.

Visitation was held on Thursday, March 5th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the O'Halloran & Murphy Funeral Home (575 Snelling Ave S, St Paul, MN 55116). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, March 6th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM and at 10:00 AM at the Assumption Catholic Church (51 7th St W, St Paul, MN 55102).
