She is survived by: her son Daniel Aasved (Stacey); her granddaughters, Talla and Bria Aasved; and her siblings, Barb Klingberg, Clarice Ahner (Ed), Allen Steffen and Mark Steffen (Kay). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

John died in 2009 from Parkinson's Disease with dementia.
