Sherla Mayer Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on March 15, 2026, at the age of 84, Sherla Mayer of Saint Paul, Minnesota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John Dreesen and Helen Dreesen (Schneiderman); her son Benji; and her siblings, Janola Murra, Char Breuker and Don Dreesen.

She is survived by: her husband David; her children, Peter Mayer (Becky), Abby Vavra (Ryan), John Mayer (Molly) and Mark Mayer (Andrea); her grandchildren, Ava, Kayleigh, Leo, Otto, Maci, Helen, Thea, Emily and Margot; and her siblings, Ben Dreesen (Karen), Janelle Drent (Gary), John Dreesen (Anita), Mim Hibma, Judy Walden (Cecil), Bob Dreesen (Patty), Peggy Luke, Lynette Nystrom (Dale), Jerry Breuker, Lynn Dreesen and Jo Bruns (Lee). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
