He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Hunter and Gladys Hunter; his siblings-in-law, Donald Albrecht, Richard Holmes, Howard Hedlund and Nancy Hunter; and his parents-in-law, Richard and Florence Vogt.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Vogt Hunter (Mart); his children, Ian Hunter (Sarah) and Ellen Hunter Gans (Paul); his grandchildren, Bronwen Hunter, Theo Hunter, Jameson Gans and Hunter Gans; his siblings, Judith Hedlund and Thomas Hunter; his sisters-in-law, Lois Albrecht and Linda Holmes; and his nieces and nephews, Howdy Hedlund, Paul Hedlund, Bryce Albrecht, Terry Holmes, Sherri Hedlund, Cindy Hunter Morgan, Barb Legris and Jennifer Albrecht. He is also survived by extended family and many great friends.
