He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter and Audrey. He is survived by: his children, Melissa Helberg (Erik), Brian (Sarah) and Zach (Nancy); his grandchildren, Hayley, Wyatt, Stella, Jacob, Brady and Savannah; his significant other Pam Fitch; and his siblings, Mike (Bobbie), Rick, Angie Koeck, Benny, Gina Rakotz (Ken), Nick (Michelle), Stan (Kim) and Josie Mell (Mike). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews; and all his many, many friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. A Mass will be held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Church of the Assumption (51 7th St W, St Paul, MN 55102).
