He was predeceased by: his great-grandparent Librada Gonzales; his grandmother Paula Estrada; and his mother Norma Cavazos. He is survived by: his father Terrill Preston; his grandmother Kim Bennett; and his aunts and uncles, Kayla Bennett, Lucero Estrada, Armando Cavazos and Iban Estrada.
