He was predeceased by: his wife Ginny; his parents, Thomas J. and Eleanor; his siblings, Ron and Terry; his son-in-law Mitchell Caron; Thomas Aquinas.

He is survived by: his children, Thomas Sullivan (Lucy), Seanne Harris (Michael), Julie Caron, Michael Sullivan (Leah), Patrick Sullivan (Alexis Pack) and Kerry LeClair (Christopher); his brother Tim; his in-laws, Cathy, Roger McGill, Gerard, Therese Deignan, Julie and Charles Schulz; and his caregiver Erika Christopherson. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

A wake will be held on Sunday, November 1st 2026 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the O'Halloran & Murphy (575 Snelling Ave S, St Paul, MN 55116). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, November 2nd 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Nativity of Our Lord Catholic Church (1938 Stanford Ave, St Paul, MN 55105).
