We are sad to announce that, on April 4, 2026 we had to say goodbye to Walter Wescott (Saint Paul, Minnesota), born in Willernie, Minnesota. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his son Todd Wescott; his parents, Walter Wescott and Alice Wescott (Crisham); and his sisters, Lucille Creps Pfaltzgraff and Marie Ruzicka.

He is survived by: his wife Rosalie "Rosie" Wescott (Hunt); and his children, Alesia Metry (Robert), Stacey Wescott (Brian Peterson), Amy Wescott (Douglas Gilbert) and Kurt Wescott (Jennifer Ingersoll). He is also survived by eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to West 7th Street Boys Club (377 Schletty Lane, West St. Paul, MN 55118), or Sharing & Caring Hands (525 N. 7th Street, Minneapolis MN 55405).

“My thoughts and prayers are with Wally's family at his passing. Wally was the director of Saint Clair playground when I was in elementary school. He would come to our home for dinner once and a while. I remember that besides overseeing all activities at Saint Clair, he took college classes and talked about his girlfriend, Rosie. I followed him and Maxine to Palace playground when they were transferred there. He was a great guy with a wonderful sense of humor. May his soul rest in peace.”
