It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wayne Edward Thompson of Saint Paul, Minnesota, who passed away on February 8, 2026, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Merris Thompson and Opal Thompson (Reed); his siblings, Ronelva, Normal Jean, Verna, Darrel, Dean, Harlan, Dale and Jack; his stepmother Eva Thompson (Ellison-Swanson); and his stepsister Jean Swanson.

He is survived by: his significant other Steve Overn. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, 2 sister-in-laws, and many awesome friends.
