He was predeceased by: his wife Lola Fredrickson; his parents, Edward McConaughead and Louise McConaughead; his grandparents, Ella Reea Hence and John Hence; and his siblings, Rene Young, Edward "Butch" McConaughead, Brenda McConaughead and Merle McConaughead.
He is survived by: his sons, Michael Curtis and John Howler; his brother Kenneth McConaughead; his nieces, Tai Robinson and Fellicia Smith; and his friend Joseph "Joey" Lega. He is also survived by many other family members and friends.
