With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Charlotte Sylvia Lawson of Saint Peter, Minnesota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 28, 2025 at the age of 89. She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Matson and Elma Matson; her former husband William Lawson; her sister Deloris Melby (Matson); her son Mark Lawson; and her daughter-in-law Tammy Lawson (Maurice Fagin).
She is survived by: her sister Pauline Smith; her sons, Steven Lawson, David Lawson (Valerie), John Lawson (Robin Smothers) and Robert Lawson (Barbara Sporlein); and her grandchildren, Christopher, Nicholas, Justin, Rebecca, Matthew, Tony, Ian, William, Joseph and Benjamin. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Church of St. Charles Borromeo (2739 Stinson Blvd NE, Minneapolis, MN 55418). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
