He is survived by : his children, Greg Hix (Mary), Deanna Steffensmeier (Pat), Cheryl Hix and Barbara Peters (Jeff). He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces, and nephews.
