It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elaine Buley of Saint Peter, Minnesota, who passed away on October 6, 2025, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Elaine Buley to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter Knutson and Olava Knutson of Albert Lea; her siblings, Claire, Ione, Polly and Vernon; her husband Byron Buley; and her daughter Jan.
She is survived by: her son Mark (Nancy) of Frederic, WI; her son-in-law Ken Greening (Liz) of Litchfield, MN; her daughters, Carol (Terry) of Caledonia, MN and Lynn Stuewe (Bob) of North Mankato, MN.; her grandchildren, Peter (Bo), Simon, Laurel (Jonah), Ashley, Hilary (Blaine) and Joe; her great grandchildren, Anwen, Shiloh, Lena, Rylee, Parker and Kayson; her brother-in-law John Buley (Sharon); and her cousin Gordon Ramsey. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the North Mankato Mortuary (2060 Commerce Dr, North Mankato, MN 56003). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Oakland Lutheran Cemetery.
