He is survived by: his children, Chris Hanson (Jill) of Olivia, MN, Jay Hanson, Norseland, Lena Burckhardt (Tate) of Lake Benton, MN and Grace Hanson (Mike Mechtenberg) of St. Paul, MN.; and his grandchildren, Jack Hanson (Madie), Olivia Hanson, Will Hanson, Hans Burckhardt, Janna Burckhardt, Selby Mechtenberg and Hewitt Mechtenberg.
Memorials may be directed towards Scandian Grove Lutheran Church memorial fund or the Nicollet County Fair.
