He was predeceased by: his parents, Gladys L. Sadler (White) and Marshall Bey Sadler; and his siblings, Magnes Marshall Sadler, Aletta Hazel Boise (Sadler), Henrietta Jones (Sadler) and Maimi Johnston (Sadler).
He is survived by: his wife Gretchen Schmeling; his daughters, Trudy Sadler Bosworth Tatum of Ames and Elizabeth Anne Sadler of Cinzano; his grandchildren, Laura, Matthew, Rachel Bosworth, Emma and Martin Provero; and his great grandchildren, Charles Helmich and Henry Bosworth.
