He is survived by : his siblings, Chuck Schoettler (Holly), Margaret Schoettler (Jeannine Johnson), Craig Schoettler, Linda Boyes (Kristen), Sue Andersen (Arik) and Amy O'Toole (Mike); and his nephew Adam Schoettler. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
