He was predeceased by: his parents, Ronald Smith and Caroline Smith; and his brother Jeff Smith. He is survived by: his wife Roselee Smith; his sons, Matt Smith (Tati) and Andy Smith (Xiaoying); his grandchildren, Eleanor, Marlowe, Metta and Joanna Smith; his siblings, Chris Hult, Sara Beske, Jane Barajas and Brad Smith; and his friends, John and Linda Givan.
