He is survived by: his wife Margaret M. Kopp; his sons, Michael Derner of Robbinsdale, MN and Daniel Derner (Meghan) of Nolensville, TN; his grandchildren, Leah, Livia, Dane, Lauren and Lara; his siblings, Richard Derner (Darlene) of St. Peter and Joan Johnson of St. Peter; and his sisters-in-law, Marion Derner of Farmington, MN and Patricia Derner of St. Peter. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
