She was predeceased by: her parents, Daniel Monson and June Monson (Martin); her husband Roland Theis (Bud); her sister Deanna Tschida; her niece Susan Divine; and her brothers-in-law, Michael Smalley and Ken Tschida.

She is survived by: her children, Connie Klocke (Daryl) of Askov, Daniel (Maggie Boyle) of Duluth, MN and Steven Theis (Elsa Martinez Tenreiro) of Elizabeth, CO; her grandchildren, Matt Klocke (Melanie) of Askov, Brian Klocke (Kelle) of Duluth, MN, Sarah Klocke of Sturgeon Lake, MN, Mike Klocke (Emily) of McGregor, MN, Ian Theis (Shawntelle) of Richfield, MN, Alec Theis (Missy) of St. Paul, MN, Alexandra Tenreiro Theis (Ryan) of Denver, CO and Samantha Tenreiro Theis (David) of Lutzenberg, Switzerland; her great grandchildren, Matthew Klocke, Ashlyn Klocke, Tyler Klocke, Scott Klocke, Parker Klocke, Maddie Klocke, Finn Klocke, Logan Disher, Raiko Theis and Eizen Theis; her sister Susan Smalley of Duluth, MN; and her sibling's children, Kathy Sommers, Kelly Fugere, Erin Conklin and John Tschida.
