He was predeceased by: his wife Judy (Wathen); his parents, Gordon Sr. and Irene; his sister Anne; and his brother-in-law Richard Eichhorn.
He is survived by: his daughter Sherry Johnson (Bryan); his grandsons, Bart and Ben Johnson; and his great grandchild Jude Johnson.
