She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Thomsen and Minnie Thomsen; her husband Dr. Allen Ecklund; and her siblings, Robert, Darrell, Tom, Howard, Dwain, Nola, Anita, LaVonne and Mona.

She is survived by: her children, Anthony (Connie) of Bruno Minnesota, Elizabeth, Matthew, Erika, Kirsten and Douglas (Wendy) of Bruno Minnesota; her grandsons, Nathaniel and Nicholas; her son Dwain (Melissa); her grandchildren, Simon and Sophia; her child Frederik (Kathryn) of Edina Minnesota; her grandchildren, Anika and Nora; her great grandchildren, Addyson, Liam, Laikyn, Finley, Maverik, Ezra, Nakoa, Walker, Theodore and Charlotte; her brother Arlin Thomsen (Cathy); and her niece Linda Jensen (Ovid).
