He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin J. Schwinghammer and Cecelia A. Schwinghammer (Poxleitner); and his siblings, Gregor Schwinghammer, Robert Schwinghammer and Marlene Schwinghammer.
He is survived by: his wife Pat; his children, Wendy Sexton (Dave) of Sartell, MN, Cheryl Kruchten (Darrell) of Sartell, MN, Scott Schwinghammer (MaryKay), Amy Rojo (Anthony) of Kalispell, MT and Craig Schwinghammer (Rachel) of Oradell, NJ.; and his siblings, Jeanette McDonald (Giles) of Palmer, AK, Roger Schwinghammer (Judy) of Fargo, ND, Anne Keenan (John) of Nevada City, CA, Alan Schwinghammer (Marlene) and John Schwinghammer (Antoinette) of Juneau, AK.. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandson.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the Eagles Healing Nest in Sauk Centre, and the Humane Society, which were close to Ben's heart.
