He was predeceased by: his parents, Aelred Haupert and Alice Haupert (Clark). He is survived by: his wife Marty; his children, Matt Haupert (Lori_) and Amy McBroom (Saul); his grandchildren, Rece Haupert, Brooke Haupert, Cora McBroom, Dyson McBroom and Marin McBroom; and his siblings, Darrell Haupert (Elfreide), Rita Jutz (Ernie), Arlon Haupert (Donna), Lois Anderson (Bud), Leonard Haupert (Cathy), Rose Atkinson (Tom) and Milton Haupert (Franchetta). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Church of St. Mary (713 12th St SW, Willmar, MN 56201). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. The military honors was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at the St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery - Willmar (1449 15th St SW, Willmar, MN 56201).
