He was predeceased by: his parents, Sulo Eckholm and Maggie Eckholm (Neff); his wife Janet Sundby; and his siblings, Donny Eckholm and Marian Hoff.
He is survived by: his sons, Harlan (Kathy) and Darren (Sundi); his grandchildren, Marlana Moore, Justin Moore and Jayden Eckholm (Cheyenne Berger); and his siblings-in-law, Sandy Eckholm and Ray Hoff. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
