She was predeceased by : her parents, Arthur Smoley and Anna Smoley (Pikus); her daughter Christina Burton; and her daughter-in-law Joani Burton. She is survived by : her husband Donald Burton of Sartell; her sons, David (Molly) of Duluth, Paul of Sartell and Jeff (Michelle) of Sartell; her grandchildren, Summer, Matthew, Daniel, Mia, Anna and Addie; and her brother William "Bill" Smoley (Gayle) of Sartell.

Memorials are preferred to Tri County Humane Society.
