He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester Nelson and Ellen Nelson. He is survived by: his son Jeff (Anne); his siblings, Gary Nelson (Georgia), Ann Anding (Maurice), Mary Preusser (Mel) and Jane; his brother-in-law Dennis Meland; and his brother Brad Nelson. He is also survived by four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
