He is survived by: his sons, Shane Gronau (Michelle) of Ramsey and Chad Gronau (Carla) of Sartell; his granddaughter Kalley Gallagher (Daniel) of St. Cloud; his great grandchildren, Alani and Zayden; his siblings, Jim Freihammer (Nancy) of Sauk Rapids, Marilyn Orren (Joe) of Sauk Rapids, Theresa Hollenkamp (Gene) of Sauk Rapids, Margaret Traut of Foley, John Freihammer (Carol) of Sartell, Lollie Traut (Tom) of Sartell, Rosann Wentland of Foley, Frank Freihammer (Carol) of St. Cloud, Larry Freihammer (Bev) of St. Cloud, Steve Freihammer (Linda) of St. Cloud and Kathy Thell (Roger) of Albany; and his sister-in-law Veronica Freihammer (Tom) of Rice.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 27th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Williams Dingmann Family Funeral Homes-Sauk Rapids (324 2nd Ave S, Sauk Rapids, MN 56379). A rosary was held on Thursday, March 27th 2025 at 6:30 PM and on Friday, March 28th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
