He was predeceased by: his parents, Roger Gans and Ruth Gans (Karger); his wife Cherri; and his brother John. He is survived by: his sisters, Carol Gans of St. Cloud, Barb Weber (Joe) of Blaine and Mary Gans-Gapinski of Apple Valley; and his stepdaughter Kelli Pederson (Dan) of Sauk Rapids. He is also survived by two step grandchildren; one niece and three nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred to Abounding Joy Lutheran Church in St. Cloud.
