He was predeceased by : his parents, Fred Nieuwboer and Margaret Nieuwboer (Bode); and his brother Freddie Nieuwboer. He is survived by : his wife Mary of Sauk Centre; his children, Emily Lewis (Andy) of Florida, Ashley Dauksas (Geoff) of Western Springs, Jenny Uphus (Nick) of Wasilla, Chad Nieuwboer and Karie Barry; his grandchildren, Liam, Tannin, Flint, Oliver, Harper, Logan, Rylan, Sasha and Devlyn; and his sisters, Nancy Sellner (Jim) of Garland and Margaret Lauinger (Dwight) of Hutchinson.
