He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Klaphake and Marlene Klaphake (Ritter). He is survived by: his nephew Jarrett; and his siblings, JoAnn Kohorst (Bob) of Sauk Centre, Mary Borgerding (Brian) of Sauk Centre, Sharon Hanson (Rod) of Sauk Centre, Jim Klaphake (Carol) of Sauk Centre, Ron Klaphake (Amy) of Sauk Centre, Mark Klaphake (Jennifer) of Sauk Centre, Linda Gamradt (Chad) of Sauk Centre, Dan Klaphake of Sauk Centre, Paul Klaphake (Traci) of Sauk Centre and Jason Klaphake (Tiffany) of Sauk Centre. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Holy Family School in Sauk Centre.
